The end of last week's Kansas City Chiefs game turned into chaos after fans got a little rowdy.
The Chiefs took down the Carolina Panthers in a last-second thriller, and some fans couldn't contain their excitement.
As the Chiefs players walked off the field, fans flocked toward the tunnel to catch a glimpse of their favorite athletes.
At one point, defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton started taking off his gloves to distribute when one of the young fans got a little excited.
The kid reached far over the fence and fell from the stands onto the field.
Fortunately, Wharton was directly below the fan and appeared to catch it before it fell to the ground.
Other fans in the stands were shocked by the child falling from his seat and could be heard in the video watching him fall.
“Oh***!” one fan shouted.
A member of stadium security was quickly on scene, looking to maintain order around the exiting Chiefs players.
“Get back to your seats! Everyone get back to your seats!” – He shouted.
“That kid just fell and went back to your seats!”
Chiefs players were able to lift the fan back into the stands, and once he was up, he could be seen putting on the player's glove.
Fans were baffled by the situation at Bank of America Stadium and shared their thoughts on social media.
“The kid almost had season tickets for life,” one fan said.
Another fan said: “Thank God Tarshaun was there to catch him.”
A third fan said: “Thank God he was safe and survived.”
A fourth fan said: “Great catch, crisis averted.”
