Clearly, there are still people who don't quite understand the concept of movie magic.
In an interview on BBC Radio 2 last week, actor Jude Law dropped the not-quite-surprising revelation about the cottage featured in the 2006 Christmas film. Vacation Doesn't really exist.
The interview – see below – has since gone viral with at least some fans of the film appearing to be broken-hearted.
Law starred with Cameron Diaz in the rom-com directed by Nancy Meyers about two people who find love in a country cottage in Surrey, England. Looking like something out of a storybook, the country house sounds too good to be true.

He says Myers had a very specific idea of what she wanted in a love shack, and when she couldn't find one, well…

Law went on to explain another Hollywood secret: The home's interiors were filmed in a studio in Los Angeles. “Wait, what?” says the stunned ball. Low apologized for bursting the holiday bubble.
