In the final episode of the singing competition, Simon revealed that her father had recently died, causing the coaches to cry.
“I know how brave you are,” Michael Bublé told Simone after her performance. “I know you and your family are going through things. I just lost your father.”
“You said you would stay because he wanted you to be here,” Bublé continued.
The teary-eyed singer said her father told her she would be “crazy to go back”, so she dedicated her performance to him as she “sings to him”.
Snoop Dogg rose from his chair and said, “Your father's spirit is asking me to hug you right now,” and added, “I'm so proud of you right now.”
