The lead singer of rock band Life of Agony has begun transitioning herself more than a decade after coming out as transgender.

Mina Caputo, 50, revealed that he will live life as a male again, noting that he has been “cured” for gender dysphoria, and announcing that he has already begun the process.

“I've been booked in for surgery to remove my fake boobs, and I'm going to lovingly live in my divine masculine self,” the rocker said in an Instagram video, per Daily Mail.

“I healed from gender dysphoria. It took many years. I walked through fire a lot, but I got over my misunderstanding of myself and my spirit.

Kabuto was born Keith in December 1973 and began identifying as Mina in 2008. The musician publicly announced that he was transgender in 2011.

He posted the ad in response to his followers who started leaving comments about his appearance and claimed that he looked like a man.

“I made this video because a lot of people throw me around saying I look ugly, I look like a man,” Caputo shared.

“It's like lamb with honey, I'm a man, I've always been a man. You're not used to hearing real people talk. You're used to people spitting at you with lies about who they are.

Caputo told his followers that he has been off hormones for several years, adding that his transformation will be complete next year.

“Yes, I have been off hormones, six or seven years ago, and in January 2025, I have surgery booked to remove my fake breasts and I will live lovingly in my divine masculine self,” the singer stated.

“My body will be completely eliminated in 2025. I can’t wait. I feel free.”

“I've been through a lot over the years. I wouldn't wish my gender dysphoria on my worst enemy. It's one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever gone through in my life, and I'm so glad it's over.”

Guitarist and Life of Agony co-founder Alain Robert showed his support for Caputo's transition in the comments section.

“Proud of your journey and raw honesty,” Robert wrote. “Always here for you no matter what. We are not blood but real family.
