A charity event in downtown Los Angeles on Thanksgiving attracted a celebrity crowd that included a meeting between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
The couple, who were married from 2005 to 2018, helped feed hundreds for The Midnight Mission. The duo's three children also participated in the event.
Affleck and Garner, as well as Sarah Paulson, posed for photographs at the annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, wearing hairnets and aprons sporting the words “I Love Midnight Mission.” The mission's website promises “live music, celebrity appearances and distribution of hygiene kits to our homeless guests.”
Dancing with the stars Professional Sasha Farber and his Season 33 partner Jen Tran also served traditional cuisine.
Midnight Mission, based in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles, has made it a tradition to recruit volunteers who help provide thousands of free meals on Thanksgiving.
