foreign currency What do we do in the shadows? Alexander Skarsgård appeared in tonight's episode of “Come and Play.” He was dressed in all black and wore vampire fangs, very similar to his own True blood The character Eric Northam played during the HBO show's seven seasons.
Regarding his appearance, Skarsgård said: “I'm afraid I don't remember filming this episode as Dr. Laszlo Cravensworth.” [Matt Barry] Apparently he hypnotized me at the closing ceremony. Although he only appeared briefly, seeing Skarsgård reappear as a vampire who resembles (but looks different) the Sheriff – hello, copyright – was the icing on the cake. What better way to cheer fans on for the final two episodes than by organizing a royal vampire rumble? The answer may be a Vampire Council episode full of appearances but there's still time to hope so. The final two episodes are: “Promotion” (December 9) and “Finale” (December 16).
Skarsgard is the latest actor to play a vampire in television or film to appear What do we do in the shadows?. Others include executive producers Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, who reprized the roles of Viago von Dorna Schmarten Scheden Heimburg and Vladislav Alboker, respectively, and Jonathan Brugg as Deacon Brock, from the film of the same name that inspired the long-running comedy series. .
Additional guest stars with previous vampire experience include Skarsgard's True blood co-star Evan Rachel Wood, Only lovers surviveTilda Swinton, and Danny Trejo, who has played fanged creatures three times on screen, including, most famously, in From dusk until dawn, code Stars Wesley Snipes and Paul Reubens from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Incredibly, all of them including Waititi, Clement and Bruges appeared together in the first season episode “The Trial”, also known as the famous Vampire Council episode.

While the “Promotion” episode gives strong vibes for Guillermo de la Cruz (Harvey Guillén), could we see his dream come true sharing the screen with Antonio Banderas who is reprising a character similar to Armand from Interview with the Vampire? Or maybe a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-ish character played by Sarah Michelle Gellar? Stay tuned…
