Kate Middleton continues to shine.

In an effort to be there for the grieving Lady Gabriella Windsor, whose husband Thomas Kingston died by suicide earlier this year, the Princess of Wales has extended an invitation to help plan her annual Christmas party.

Middleton, 42, reached out to Lady Gabriella, 43, over the summer after news emerged that her husband, whom she married in 2019, had died in Gloucestershire, England, in February. He was 45 years old.

Princess Catherine asked Lady Gabriella to help choose the musical performances for this year's Together at Christmas concert, which was hosted by the princess on December 6 and is scheduled to be broadcast on Christmas Eve.

Lady Gabriella, who is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, was reportedly touched that the beloved prince had asked her to take part in the planning.

In fact, Gabriella has been said to be a “true member of the hymnal ministry team” due to her past experiences as a singer and songwriter.

A source told the Daily Mail that Lady Gabriella “enjoyed her role within the service and was excited to be part of it”, while Middleton was “incredibly grateful for her contribution”.

“She was very touched and grateful to the Princess when she was asked to contribute to her very special concert. She felt honored,” the insider added.

Lady Gabriella eventually invited singer Gregory Porter and pianist Rosie Chan to perform at the celebratory concert. A poem was read by Tony winner Sophie Okonedo.

In addition to leading the selection of performers, Lady Gabriella is involved with Restore the Music, a non-profit organization that supports music education for young people.

Ahead of this year's event, Princess Catherine – who revealed in September that she had completed chemotherapy and is now cancer-free – put out a call to people who have made a difference in their communities.

The palace previously said Middleton “wanted to celebrate the many people who support those in need – individuals who have inspired, advised, comforted, and above all shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive.”
