Randy Moss sent a message to his teammates on Sunday NFL Countdown amid his liver cancer diagnosis.
The ESPN star and NFL legend, 47, revealed the statement Social media Sunday.
Sunday NFL the countdown Moss continued to be absent from the show.
Moss stepped down from his role on the show on December 6 because of it health problems.
So, on Sunday, Moss posted a message on X and tagged ESPN. Writing, “NFL Countdown Sunday…….I miss you too!!
“You guys keep it up. The UGM section was great!!”
Moss pointed to Sunday NFL Countdown's You Got Mossed (or UGM) segment that highlights notable wide receiver moments in soccer.
This segment is usually hosted by NFL Hall of Famer wide receiver Moss.
On December 13, Moss told his fans that he had cancer and spoke frankly about his general condition.
The 47-year-old appeared in… Instagram Live video and he was wearing a “Team Moose” T-shirt.
Moss announced that he is recovering from major surgery after undergoing a six-hour operation to remove the cancer.
“I've been telling you all for the past two weeks that I'm fighting something internally, and that this boy has cancer. Survivor.
He later said: “I had cancer, they found it in the bile duct, right between the pancreas and the liver, and the cancer was right outside the masonry duct.

Moss later shared that he is progressing but “it's going to be a tough road with some chemo and some radiation.”
He has been an analyst for ESPN since 2016.

“He has the full support of ESPN, and we look forward to welcoming him back when he is ready.”
Moss previously worked for Fox Sports and was a high school defensive coordinator at North CarolinaWhere his son played football.
