RING owners can add a little festive fun to their doorstep for guests visiting this Christmas.
The Amazon-owned company has brought back special messages welcoming anyone who knocks on the door for a limited time.
These include holiday greetings but also a fun surprise as well.
You can choose from six cheeky messages from the famous Grinch.
Quick responses are there when you can't get to the door right away.
“Seasonal messages don't last forever!” Ring warns.
“They will leave when the season is over.
“If you're using one at the time, the standard 'We can't answer the door…' message will be selected.”
You can choose from one of the following Eid messages:
- Hey! Happy holidays, we'll be there.
- Merry Christmas! We're a little wrapped up at the moment. Leave us a message.
- Hello! Happy Hanukkah! Leave us a message.
- Ho ho ho ho, question for you… Are you on my nice list or my naughty list? Either way, leave a message
- Ho ho ho, happy holidays! If you would like to leave a message, you can do so now.
The Grinch's letters are:
- visitor? To this house? Top! Ah, fine. They will be there.
- Sing songs and bake cookies?! Thankfully, now you can do it. They will be there.
- Oh look who it is! Well, now you can enjoy the festive cheer. They'll be there shortly.
- Welcome? There's a little commotion in the kitchen – oh, my eyes hurt! Leave a message
- Hi, I'm the Grinch – leave a message after the weird sound I make.
- Oh my word, from so much smiling and laughing. I have to get out of here. Leave a message.

Ant and Dec on your Ring doorbell
When Christmas is over and you need to replace your Ring Smart Answer, there are a number of options.
Instead of using generic messages, you might imagine a celebrity greeting your visitors instead.
Earlier this year, Ring enlisted family favorites Ant and Dec to record special messages.
This includes things like “too big a package” and “too busy watching TV.”
So you may want to select one of these settings from the same as above.
