The actress took to X to send a video thanking fans for their support over the decades, and ITV also shared a video in which Worth is seen overwhelmed as the cast and crew gather to bid her farewell.
Worth played Jill Platt for 50 years – during her time on the show, she was married five times and featured in a catalog of backstories including widowhood, the death of her husband, and her discovery that one husband, Richard Helman, was a soap opera. killer.
Hellman actress Brian Capron returned in ghostly form to appear in the final episode of Worth, which eventually saw her happily married for the sixth time to husband Jesse Chadwick, played by John Thompson.
In her farewell video to fans, Worth said:
