WALMART has doubled its collaboration with a popular hot dog station, with new locations now added.
Customers can enjoy specialty dogs, as well as a variety of barbecue foods, as they do their weekly shopping.
Crave Hot Dogs has been steadily building its reputation as a leading BBQ brand since its founding in 2018.
The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has grown to operate with locations in 16 states.
These include branches in Arizona, Florida, Virginia, and Iowa to name a few.
But bosses are looking to expand the restaurant's reach further by extending their agreement with Walmart.
Supermarket customers will soon be able to find Crave stations in select locations around Ohio, Florida and Kentucky.
These restaurants will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, offering Crave's beef and a range of their own barbecue products.
The company also revealed that new locations are already planned in New York, Georgia and Texas by the end of the year.
A whopping 100 units are planned by the peak of the partnership.
“We are thrilled to partner with Walmart to expand Crave,” said Samantha Rencione, CEO and co-founder of Crave.
“This new venture allows us to serve fast, delicious food, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on the community.”
One Crave fan took to Facebook to share their joy.
They wrote: “Watch out Costco!
“Walmart has hot dogs too.”
However, shoppers can still expect Costco's competing hot dog deal to be cheaper.
Crave's website currently shows one dog retailing for $6.45 at food trucks and $5.45 at restaurants.
But that can't match Costco's legendary selection of hot dogs and drinks.
The budget chain began offering in 1984, charging just $1.50.
Surprisingly, the price has not changed until today.
