The 31-year-old did not appear at Bolton District Court for sentencing

Manchester United player Harry Maguire has been banned from driving after admitting speeding.

Bolton Court heard he was caught on camera driving his Range Rover at 85mph (136km/h) as it emerged from a tunnel on Wilmslow Road, under the runway at Manchester Airport, on March 5 last year.

He was suspended for 56 days, fined £666 and ordered to pay costs of £120 and a surcharge of £266.

A legal representative attended on behalf of the 31-year-old, who did not attend the hearing.
