ANGEL REESE has sent a clear message to trolls and haters after briefly deactivating her Instagram account.
The WNBA star turned heads and sent jaws to the floor after sharing a photo of her stunning dress on New Year's Eve.
But just two days later, Reese appeared to deactivate her Instagram account, which has more than five million followers.
The Chicago Sky forward, 22, opened it up again and shared her cover on the front page of Vogue with a clear message to the haters.
“Cover girl. It's always been it: basketball and fashion,” the Instagram photo read.
Fans flooded the comments with praise, writing: “This is why she is such a role model.
“Basketball, fashion, and staying authentic. Angel is unstoppable!”
She later added on X: “I've got you covered and I'm giving you all COVERGIRL.”
“This line is historic. Literally,” one fan responded.
“If it was a lyric in a rap song, people would miss it!”
On TikTok, there was a video of her dancing with phrases like “she needs to cover up” and “she is devaluing her brand” appearing on the screen.
Reese will be on the cover of the Winter 2025 issue titled “When Sports Meets Fashion.”
The basketball star was seen wearing a burgundy Versace dress.
“It's always been both: basketball and fashion,” she told the magazine.
“I was always in my mom's closet, wearing her stuff. I liked to carry a handbag, and do my hair.
“I wanted to look put together.
“I still do it. I was watching America's Next Top Model with Tyra [Banks] And I walk in the living room.”
Fans loved her return to social media with comments full of praise for the budding star.
