Exclusive: New European film sales have joined the upcoming feature film from Icelandic director Hlinur Palmason Love that stayshis latest work following a work that was shortlisted for an Academy Award Goodland.
The sales takeover sees the Warsaw-based company's team return to Icelandic production company Still Vivid and Danish company Snowglobe.
The new feature filmed in East Iceland is under the radar and is scheduled to be completed in 2025. According to the official description, the drama “tenderly depicts a year in the life of a family as the parents navigate their separation. Through hilarious and emotional moments, the film captures the essence of fading love and shared memories Amidst the changing seasons.
New Europe will begin sales of the film at the European Film Market at the Berlinale in February. Before that, the team behind the film will present the first clips to visitors to the Gothenburg Nordic Film Market at the end of this month.

The cast includes Saga Garðarsdóttir (Woman in wap), Sverrir Gudnason (Borg v. McEnroe), Ida Makin Hlinsdottir (Goodland), Orgilus helinson (nest), Grímur Helenson (nest).
Palmason also has cinematographer credits and is once again working with regular collaborators, including editor Julius Krebs Damsbø, sound designer Björn Viktorsson, production designer Frosti Frieriksson, and others.
