Tony Romo gasps in shock on CBS broadcast after Mack Hollins’ brutal hit on Marvin Mims in Bills-Broncos clash

NFL broadcasters were mystified by the massive hit in the Buffalo Bills' playoff game.

The Buffalo Bills completely dominated the Denver Broncos on Sunday morning, and the team's physicality was part of that.

The Bills crushed the Broncos 31-7, setting the tone early with some big hits on Bengals players.

One of the biggest of those hits came on a first-period Bills punt.

With the Bills leading 10-7, Buffalo made a run at the Broncos.

The ball spent too much time in the air, allowing Bills special teams player and wide receiver Mac Hollins to race down the field.

He was first on the scene when Broncos linebacker Marvin Mims caught the ball and flattened it all the way.

The hit was so strong that the game's microphones picked it up and left the broadcasters horrified.

Tony Romo could be heard gasping as Jim Nantz went play-by-play on the penalty kill.

“Ohhh!” He can be heard saying behind Nantz.

Hollins hit Mims so hard that he actually started a brawl between the two teams which eventually resulted in a personal penalty on the Broncos.

NFL fans joined Romo in calling out the massive hit and sharing it on social media.

“Put the buddy out!” said one fan.

“Damn, that was a bad shot!” Another fan said.

“MACK TRUCK,” a third fan said.

“This is going to leave a mark,” a fourth fan said.

“5 spikes on the BOOM scale,” said a fifth fan.

With the win, the Bills advance to face the Baltimore Ravens in the playoff round.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Houston Texans in the other AFC matchup.

Hollins and the Bills will be hoping to keep their fitness and momentum going into their biggest game of the season next week.
