Bill Burr Has Some Words For Self-Proclaimed Wildfire Experts And Insurers

Business

Comedian Bill Burr is angry at all the self-proclaimed wildfire experts who post online opinions about Los Angeles. appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Burr said last night that although he had to evacuate his home, he felt lucky.

“Everyone's doing a great job, unlike the Internet,” Burr said, before adding, “Oh my God, all these 'fire experts.'” (Using an obnoxious know-it-all voice, Burr continued) “Why don't you fly a helicopter in the ocean?”[Usinganobnoxiousknow-it-allvoiceBurrcontinued)'Whydon'tyoujustflyahelicopterintheocean?'Idon'tknowmaybebecauseof100knotwinds…youf*inglunatic'[باستخدامصوتبغيضيعرفكلشيء،واصلبور)”لماذالاتطيربطائرةهليكوبترفيالمحيط؟”لاأعرفربمابسببرياحتبلغسرعتها100عقدةأنتمجنون”[Usinganobnoxiousknow-it-allvoiceBurrcontinued)‘Whydon’tyoujustflyahelicopterintheocean?’Idon’tknowmaybebecauseof100knotwinds…youf*inglunatic”

“This has definitely been mismanaged,” Burr said in his Cliff Clavin voice, once again mocking the know-it-alls, adding in his own voice, “Like some idiot on the Internet knows how to manage the worst fire in L.A., sitting there in his underwear.” You know, looking at the footage on the Internet, I decided, 'This thing was poorly managed.'” If you use the Internet, you know what a fucking thing it is.

Burr also spoke of his misguided belief in his previous purchase of a quick getaway helicopter. “I didn't realize how expensive helicopters were, so all I had was a two-seater, and I didn't want to have to do Sophie's Choice with my family, so we all piled into the SUV like everyone else,” he told Kimmel.

Burr then ventured into more dangerous territory. “They talk about looting, but CNN and Fox News won't talk about the insurance companies that will keep everyone's premiums and continue to give themselves a bonus.” Burr then shouted, “Free Luigi!”, and said he “loved the way they all acted surprised” that an insurance company executive had been shot dead by alleged killer Luigi Mangione. “I love the way they act surprised, like, 'Oh, why did that happen?'” Burr said. “He wrote on the lead why it happened!”

“Oh, we're back to Luigi,” Kimmel interrupted.

“I never left Luigi,” Burr said.
