On December 28, FKA Twigs surprised audience members at Anyma's first concert, “End of Genesys.”
The 37-year-old avant-garde pop star joined the DJ on stage and proceeded to perform a remixed version of her recently released single “Eusexua” while a massive version of herself performed an interpretive dance on the screen that loomed large over the screen. Audience.
Three weeks after that stunning performance — Rezz described her vocals as “absolutely flawless” on Instagram — FKA Twigs has just announced her “Eusexua Tour” in support of her album of the same name due out on January 24.
Midway through a six-concert international leg in North America, the “Two Weeks” singer will make a lone stop in New York when she hits Queens' Knockdown Center on Thursday, April 3.
In addition to the tour, the Gloucestershire native will also headline this year's Coachella Arts and Music Festival on April 11, 13, 18 and 20 alongside big names like Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Missy Elliott, Clyro, Kraftwerk and more.
About the new album, FKA Twigs wrote “…[EUSEXUA] It is my composition and really feels like a pin in my artist's heart. EUSEXUA was born in a chicken scratch, written on the back of my hand in the toilet at a wild party in Prague, “This room of fools, we're making something together” and we're doing it. We rave, sweat, kiss, and make love to the buzz of burgeoning culture,” she wrote on Instagram.
This will be her first official record release since 2019's “Magdalene.”
