‘Where’s my $10m?’, Travis Hunter hints at return to college to make $100million in huge rant over NIL deals

Travis Hunter hinted at a return to college after much buzz over nothing deals.

The cornerback and wide receiver starred for the Colorado Buffaloes and won the Heisman Trophy in 2024.

Hunter, 21, is slated to be a high first-round pick and could go first overall.

If he is the top pick, he could receive a contract worth around $42 million.

However, he has now considered returning to college after hearing about quarterback Carson Beck's earnings on nothing deals.

Beck, 23, has earned $10 million in deals thanks to partnerships with leading brands over the past year.

It left Hunter angry about the amount of money and claimed he was going back to college.

He said, “How do you get $10 million? Where's my $10 million?”

“How do people get that much money, brother?… Let me go back.

“I'm going back to college. Let me see if I can get $100 million.”

“Let me go see if I can win another Heisman, because I can't do it in college with $10 million. Let me go to the portal.”

NIL deals allow college athletes to make money off their name, image and likeness.

This means they can make money from things like endorsements, sponsorships, and appearances.

These deals became possible after the NCAA changed its rules in July 2021, allowing student-athletes to get paid for their personal branding.

Hunter has done well for himself thanks to his NIL deals as he has deals with the likes of Adidas, EA Sports, United Airlines and NerdWallet.
