Dear white people Star DeRon Horton revealed he was shot before the offseason and is now on the mend outside the hospital.
Horton, who was last seen on Apple TV+ The Last Days of Ptolemy Grayshared the horrific news in an Instagram post before the weekend, detailing his injuries in a series of photos that show him wearing a hospital gown, as well as various photos of his gruesome arm injury and subsequent stitches and X-rays.
“Firstly. “I want to give honor to God for seeing and protecting me out of this and countless other situations,” he wrote in the post. “Everyone who checked on me and cheered on me especially my family and friends who I love all, thank you. Cetin was photographed a few days before Christmas was not on my wish list 😂🎅🏽.
Horton, whose television credits also include American Horror Story and American saboteurHe said the incident occurred when an attacker shot at his car, and included the aftermath in his photo collection. The bullet pierced his arm and “shattered” it, but the actor said he felt “blessed” that he was not “in a coffin or paralyzed.”
He concluded: “I'm out of hospital now recovering, I have a plate and screws in my arm so I can't exercise for a minute and I'm angry about it but it could have been worse! I don't need any sympathy, I'll be back soon and I feel amazing 💯💯 Just wanted to mention Myself and myself should keep God first!Stay alert n grateful for everything Satan can't stop when you walk with God🙏🏽.”
Many Hollywood stars shared their support and well wishes for Horton in the comments section, along with Ptolemy Gray co-star Samuel L. Jackson, who wrote in part: “Glad you're still with us, Tuff Stuff!!! Good to have you included with the titan.”
