Not everyone was sad about Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo's breakup. On Monday night's (January 20) episode of Watch what's happening live, Actor Mackie Leeper gave his interesting take on the hair-raising news from Bravo.
“finally!” Lieber said when a virtual fan asked his reaction to Conover and DeSorbo's breakup during WWHL: After the show. “Is this crazy? You guys are going to kill me here.”
Host Andy Cohen confirmed Saint Denis Medical Najm said he was in a “safe place” before questioning why he felt this way.
“I think Paige will never leave [New York]. “I don't think that's going to happen,” Leeper said. “And I – do I hate to say that I think Paige could do better? Is that crazy?”
“Craig seems like he wants a wife. I'm like, does he want Paige, though? I think Paige needs someone who wants Paige,” Leeper continued.
DeSorbo announced that she and Southern charm The star broke up after three years of dating on the Dec. 30 episode Gigli band The podcast she shares with her ex-husband Summer house Co-star Hannah Berner.
“I love him. I think he loves me. I think we'll stay friends. Nobody did anything. I don't think it was a bad thing,” she shared at the time. “I think we've been really mature and saying what we want and what we don't want. I think it's very powerful to be able to express how you feel in real time and what you want for your future.
Conover later revealed that he was “absolutely devastated” when they broke up “right before the holiday.”
“This has all been very unexpected to say the least. I have to start life again, whatever that looks like, whatever my new normal looks like, I have to start,” he said in an Instagram video, urging fans to “be kind.” With him and DeSorbo.
While Lieber wasn't completely surprised by the news, other actors like Jon Hamm were.
“I have to pour one for Craig and Paige, oh my God,” he said during Cohen and Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve broadcast on CNN. “End of an era. Jeez. Who would thank her?”
