Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract, which will keep him at the City Ground until the summer of 2029.
The 22-year-old joined Forest from Brazilian club Corinthians in August 2023 on a five-year deal for a fee worth around £15m.
He has become a key figure at Forest and was named Player of the Year last season.
“I'm very grateful and happy that there are four more years to come,” Murillo said.
“I'm sure we have a great future ahead of us.”
Forest occupies third place in the English Premier League, equal on points with second-placed Arsenal and six points behind leaders Liverpool.

Murillo received his first call-up to Brazil's squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in November, but was an unused substitute in the draws against Venezuela and Uruguay.
