A student shot two other students in a Nashville high school cafeteria on Wednesday before turning the gun on himself, according to authorities.

The Metro School District alerted families that “Antioch High School is on lockdown due to a shooting inside the school building.”

She added, “The person responsible for the shooting no longer poses a threat.”

The police then said that “three people were injured, including the suspect who shot himself.”

However, it was not clear whether any of the three had died.

All three were students, and the gunman shot the other two in the cafeteria, officials told WSMV 4.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded to the scene, the network said.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
