Tyra Banks spoke out about losing her home in the recent Los Angeles wildfires that displaced thousands of Los Angeles County residents.

“I lost my home,” Banks said on the Australia Morning Show. sunrise. “I didn't really talk about it, but yeah, I did.”
She continued: “I didn’t want to attract too much attention to myself.” I feel like there are a lot of people who need that attention, so I haven't really talked about it, but I can't sit here and not tell the truth that, yes, we lost our home.
the America's Next Top Model The host and creator said she was “at a friend's house here, and we were just having fun partying” when she learned of the wildfires.
“I kept checking my phone, not for my house, but for friends and family, making sure they were evacuating and everything,” Banks said. “Then I asked my partner, I was like, ‘I see something here, what do you think?’ And he [nodded]. I pulled myself together and didn't say anything to my friends and just stayed in the moment, then we went home and cried and had our moment.

Banks said that although she has a home in Los Angeles, she lives between Australia and New York City. “We're between here and New York, so a lot of that memorabilia is here and in New York, so I haven't lost that, thank God,” she said. She added: “There are some memorabilia that we lost, but yes, it is difficult.”
Fires across Los Angeles have killed at least 27 people and destroyed more than 15,000 structures, and the Palisades and Eaton wildfires are still burning. Firefighters continue to battle the Palisades Fire, which is now more than 60% contained, while the Eaton Fire is nearly 90% contained nearly two weeks later.
