Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 308 illegal immigrants, some of whom were charged with murder and child rape, on President Trump's first full day in office on Tuesday, border official Tom Homan revealed.
Homan said on Wednesday that immigration officers have begun arresting illegal immigrants who pose a threat to “public safety,” with 700,000 of them roaming the country.
“ICE is doing its job,” Homan added.
Homan pledged to resume immigration raids under Trump, including in sanctuary cities.
In a previous interview with The Washington Post, Homan asserted that even without the help of sanctuary leaders, the feds would still “wait until they get out of prison, and then we'll go out into the neighborhoods and get them.”
