The network averaged 42.4 million viewers to face the AFC.
This makes it the most watched game of the weekend.
But it fell by 16 percent in the same place last year.
The Kansas City Chiefs' win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round 12 months ago was watched by 50.4 million people.
ESPN kicked off this year's divisional round with the Chiefs against the Houston Texans.
The match at Arrowhead Stadium was watched by 32.7 million people.
ESPN also claimed that it was the highest-rated game at 4:30 PM ET in the Saturday division across any network dating back to 2016.
Meanwhile, NBC announced that an average of 37.8 million people watched the playoff game.
The network airs the snowball game between the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Their audience is down to 40.4 million who watched the Divisional Round game between the Buccaneers and Lions last year.
Fox showed the Detroit Lions taking on the Washington Commanders on Saturday night.
They reported an audience of 33.6 million viewers for the prime-time showdown.

The NFC Championship game between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles kicks off at 3pm ET Sunday on Fox.
This is followed by the AFC Championship Game as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills at 6:30 PM ET on CBS.
Super Bowl LIX will be held on Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans, Louisiana and will be broadcast by Fox.
