DEION SANDERS has sent a touching message to the NFL legend about his future.

Colorado Buffaloes coach showed his faith in his good friend Eddie George after missing out on a job.

It was announced that George, 51, had interviewed with the Chicago Bears.

He was coaching at Tennessee State University but could be taking a big step in his career.

Sanders, 57, never played alongside George during his career, but he formed a strong friendship.

George apparently didn't get through with his interview, as the Chicago Bears hired Ben Johnson as their new head coach.

He showed his support for George in a touching social media post.

Sanders was keen to announce his support for George.

“Praying for my dear friend and brother HC Eddie George regarding his interview with the Chicago Bears,” he wrote.

“I believe in you, man!

Bears general manager Ryan Poles admitted that Johsnon was hired after being impressed by his “offensive mind.”

“He is a proven leader with a winning pedigree and a mind for innovation, and we are excited to welcome Ben and his family to Chicago as our head coach,” he said.
