Kyogo arrived at Celtic from Vissel Kobe for an undisclosed fee in July 2021 and has been one of the key players in the club's dominance at domestic level.

He has won three Premier League titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups with the Glasgow club.

His involvement in securing those titles was pivotal, as he scored 85 goals in 165 appearances – including 137 starts – as well as providing 15 assists.

The Japanese forward, who is under contract until 2027, scored 12 goals from 32 appearances this season as Celtic opened up a huge lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership and qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League.

He played 75 minutes in Wednesday's match against Young Boys which ensured Celtic's qualification for the Champions League play-off.

Kyogo scored his first goal for Celtic on his debut against Jablonec in the Europa League in August 2021 and netted a hat-trick in 67 minutes in his next game – a 6-0 win over Dundee.

His tally of 20 goals in his first season included two strikes against Hibernian in the League Cup Final at Hampden.

The following season, he opened the scoring against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup final that clinched the treble.

He also scored twice as they beat Rangers in the Scottish League Cup Final earlier that season.

Since his Premier League debut, he has scored 63 goals, 12 more than the next top scorer, Lawrence Shankland, during that period.
