I must kidnap them all.
A California Costco store turned into a fight club when a large crowd of adults brawled over Pokemon cards as they cleared the store's shelves in a matter of seconds, risking limbs for easy payouts.
Wild footage captured shoppers at the Atwater Village Costco in Los Angeles fighting over loads of coveted Pokémon cards on January 16.
The cards were not regular Pokemon packs but were the coveted 151 Blooming Waters Premium Collection pack.
The set of cards — which originally sold for $120 to $150 — was in high demand by sellers and speculators after the wholesale franchise began listing them for less than $60 last week.
One of the suspected sellers – who was wearing a green jacket – wrapped himself around a younger man who was carrying two boxes in a battle for the box set.
The young man brutally punched his attacker in the face while a female shopper shouted at him.
“Stay away from me bro,” one shopper said, according to a video posted to X by YouTuber DisguisedToast.
The relentless man continued to hold on to the box as other shoppers struggled to move their purchases away from the area.
People began ordering other shoppers to call the police because of the unruly crowd.
Police were not called to the store and no arrests were made, TMZ reported.
The store was dealing with the incident internally, according to the outlet.
No serious injuries were reported.
Additional footage from the Los Angeles area store captured store employees yelling at anxious alleged brokers to walk in when the store opened.
PokéBeach reported that obsessed shoppers were seen rushing through the store trying to get their hands on the limited box set.
A separate scene captured the mad rush as people grabbed entire boxes full of packages.
Costco has since implemented a “one unit per membership per day” policy for packages.
The packs focus on the original 151 Pokémon, with the chance to get some popular individual cards worth a hefty sum.
The card box includes 12 trading card game booster packs, and four foil cards featuring Venusaur ex, Blastoise ex, Bulbasaur and Squirtle.
Cards are recommended for ages 6 and up.
Buzz around the collection rose when Costco surprisingly dropped the Blooming Waters bundle.
The packages have been resold on the secondary market, including eBay and Facebook Marketplace, for between $90 and $200.
eBay was selling a 10-pack for $1,564.78.
The priceless bundles are scheduled to be released at BestBuy and other retailers on February 7, with Walmart advertising the set for $166.90.
