He continued: “All of this has been said, I will do Russia, whose economy has failed, and President Putin, a very great known.
“I settled now, and stop this funny war,” adding that it “will only get worse.”
Russia quickly responded to Trump's warning.
Dmitry Polansky, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, said the Kremlin would need to hear specific details from Trump about any deal before follow -up.
