Both OC Matt Nagy and DC Steve Spagnuolo have been released from head coaching roles throughout the NFL.

The pair were invited for interviews earlier this month by a range of teams.

Spagnuolo had previously indicated he was open to the idea of a head coaching role.

His last NFL spot came in 2009, when he spent three seasons in charge of the St. Louis Rams.

Nagy and Spagnuolo interviewed for the role with the then-New York Jets in early January.

Spagnuolo was also invited to sit out with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders.

All three teams have since hired head coaches — Aaron Glenn to the Jets, William Quinn to the Jaguars, and Pete Carroll with the Raiders.

As such, it seems likely that both Nagy and Spagnuolo will be available to partner Kansas City Chief Andy Reid in 2025.

the Dallas Cowboys and The New Orleans Saints are the only two NFL teams still searching for a new coach.

Neither Spagnuolo nor Nagy is on the radar for either, per Atoz Sports.

“I'm over the moon that Spags is staying,” one fan wrote on X.

“Mr. Nagy can leave whenever he wants, Andy is running a crime. But Spag? He has to stay!” another wrote.

“Found a lot of idiots who don't like Neji. Not sure why, I'm sure these fans know better. He's the future sensei, learning to love her,” a third argued.

“Neji could be confused. We really need to,” the fourth faced.

Spagnuolo admitted earlier this month that he had his eyes on a head coaching role.

When asked if he would like to take up the position of HC in the future, he replied: “I will deal with that later. The answer is yes.”

Spagnuolo was the Rams' head coach from 2009 to 2011, but had a brutal 1-15 season in his first year.

He went 7-9 in the second campaign but meandered to a 2-14 record in his third season before being fired.

The Chiefs face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.

Kansas City is targeting a historic three-peat this season, with no NFL team in recent history ever having three straight Lombards.

Reed appears set to stick around for another season after extending a contract extension through 2029 last year.

The 66-year-old has coached the Chiefs since 2013, winning three Super Bowl rings.
