Ryan Reynolds showed up to him Deadpool & Wolverine Costar Hugh Jackman when he started out as an actor From New York with love Concert Series at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night.

In the characteristic sarcastic tone he uses on his long-time friend, Reynolds dished out shock at Jackman's musical theater talent.

“This fella is putting on a show,” the actor wrote on his Instagram Story over a selfie of himself and Jackman. “I knew he could be stabbed and sad. The exhibition is an immersive retrospective and Jamboree of feeling, laughter and joy. There's not a single dry eye in the house.”

Reynolds attended the show with Deadpool & Wolverine Director Shawn Levy.

“Sit down with [Shawn Levy] And watching our PAL tear a hole through RadiocityMusichall is an essential memory,” Reynolds continued. “I give it 4.9 stars out of 5 because I was told there was going to be a car chase.”

The concert features performances from some of Jackman's most iconic roles in film and musical theatre, such as The greatest showmanand The Miserablesand The Boy from Ozand Music man And more.

People magazine captured a video of Reynolds surprising Jackman during the “Hugh & A” segment to praise Jackman's performance and character.

“I wanted to actually say, 'I love this guy, and I care about this guy. He's, he's truly the best human being I know. And I have 4 kids!'” Reynolds said, telling his “Gotcha for Life” that he owed him $100 for the compliments.
