The Fox NFL Sunday crew had a good laugh after Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski recreated the infamous play.
Brady was the focus of the infamous Tuck Rule play, and his opponent from that play was live with him.
The infamous Tuck Rule play between Brady and Charles Woodson took place in 2001.
In a playoff game between the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders.
During the game, Brady started throwing the ball when Woodson came in and knocked it away from him.
The Raiders recovered what appeared to be a fumble, but the call was later overturned.
Officials used the tuck rule to say that the fumble was actually considered a forward pass, thus invalidating the play.
The play has been immortalized as one of the most controversial plays in history.
More than 20 years later, Woodson and Brady stood side by side on Fox NFL Sunday.
Together they discussed the infamous play while watching it together.
“I'm sorry,” Brady told Woodson.
Woodson accepted his apology, but responded by knocking the football out of Brady's hands for the fumble.
“Look, he fumbled again!” Woodson shouted.
After that was called, Michael Strahan went to recover the fumble and Brady tackled him.
Rob Gronkowski came out of nowhere and pounced on the ball to give it back to Brady.
“I always head for Tom!” Gronk shouted.
