ExclusiveNetflix raised two VP, Michael Azzolino and NNE ebong development managers, with new or expanded responsibilities.
European -based Netflix Azzolino returns to the United States to become VP, develop a textual drama chain. The start of his new job in July, Azzolino will provide reports to Jinny Howe, Vice President of the NETFLIX drama series. He will assume the responsibilities she was holding before Haw before her promotion a year ago to oversee the entire drama portfolio. The prominent job was open for about a year, as a number of executives were seen outside Netflix.
Ebong, who was leading the Netflix Studio team as Vice President, is uploaded to VP, Studio Scripted Series. As I reported, he is now supervising the creation and development of all internal offers and privileges, with the addition of projects based on Netflix's IP, such as Roald Dahl, to its jurisdiction.
Hao reports to Peter Friedlan and Rander, Vice President of the United States and Canada.
For azolino, this is a return to the American drama series market where the American CEO worked for more than one and a half decades before joining Netflix in 2018 in Vice President, content, Benrlux/CEE/TURKEY in the Netherlands.
Before that, hold the position of Evp Creative Affairs for ITV Studios America in Los Angeles for two years. He spent 11.5 years on Jerry Bruckheimer TV as SVP, where he was working on a list of series that included devil, Drama series found a second life – and global success – on Netflix.
Azzolino started his career in the NBC network before joining the WB TV and eventually moved to CBS Productions as a director, drama chain.
Before joining Netflix in November 2020, Ebong was creative in the independent WIIP studio. Before that, she spent 12 years of ABC studios, as she rose to SVP to develop the drama.
