A man was shocked after he asked for training from Aliexpress – and received a picture of the tool instead.
In November 2024, Sylvester Franklin, 68, ordered a DIY and a pressure washing machine for $ 40 from the online budget store.
On December 9, a bundle and instead of a new drilling and pressure washing machine arrived, the retired received a picture of drilling and a nail.
He said he complained to aliexpress, but he had not yet recovered the amount.
“I paid about 40 dollars – all I got is a picture of drilling and a nail,” said Sylvester, a former mechanic and reform man from Savana, Georgia.
“I was very upset. I called them to recover the money immediately.
They did not return to me.
“I am retired. They took advantage of me. They need to pay the price of what I did.
“I was very upset when I opened the box.”
“I am a mechanical man and repair. I use such tools all the time to work on my car or around the house.
“This is bad.
“They have benefited from me – do not deceive anyone.
“When I pay for something, I expect to get what I paid for.”
