Northern Ireland will face Switzerland and Iceland in friendly matches later this year before the start of the World Cup qualifiers.

Michael O'Neill Switzerland will welcome Windsor Park on March 21 and will host Iceland on June 10.

Last month, the Irish Federation announced a friendly against Sweden in Stockholm on March 25.

A friendly will be confirmed outside June before meeting with Iceland after the league matches in the Nations League in March.

Northern Ireland lost to Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup match and also met it in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, drawing 0-0 in Belfast and lost 2-0 in Geneva.

Northern Ireland had a strong 2024, as it topped the Nations League group.
