Irish knight Michael Osolivan died after falling into Thoris, the Republic of Ireland, earlier this month.
The 24 -year -old has been in a concentrated coma at Cork University Hospital since the accident during the race on February 6.
“Michael died sadly in the early hours of Sunday morning, surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital.”

“The Michael family would like to repeat their gratitude to all the support they received in the last two days and express their appreciation to the local community and the race family. The Osoulivan family has asked for privacy at this time.”
