With the popularity of WNBA rapidly increasing, it may be time to look at changing some periodic rules.
Among those rules that need a major change is the WNBA private project.

Since things are currently standing, WNBA has some simple rules regarding a civilian basketball player.
According to WNBA, the player needs to meet these conditions in order to enter the draft:
- Be a senior graduate or 22 years old in 2025 to choose a 2025 -WNBA draft
- International players can enter the draft if they are 22 years old in 2025
This condition for graduation from college or 22 years old has women's basketball players in losing some of their main years for an additional time in the college.
Look at the American Professional League, for example. Only one year of high school players must complete one year of high school before they can enter the American Professional League draft.
This means that the beginners beginners, such as the Duke of Cooper Flag and Dylan Harper of Duke, can enter the draft after one season.
Meanwhile, some of the best stars in women's total basketball are being held for several years and are at risk of injury before they can formulate.
The biggest example of the player who comes out completely but has no eligibility is the USC juju watkins.
Watskins was incredible as a new student, with an average of 27.1 points, 7.3 rebound balls, and 3.3 passes for each game.
However, you could not give up this special season in choosing a high WNBA draft.
This year, Wattakens has another great season. Its average is 24.3 points, 6.9 rebound balls and 3.6 passes for each game.
However, she cannot enter the WNBA draft after this season.
Watskins need to play two other years in the college before it is considered as a possibility project in WNBA.
Another major example of a very long eligibility is Paige Buccers from Uconn.
Bueckers was an incredible player as a new student, with an average of 20.0 points, 4.9 rebound balls, and 5.7 passes for each game in the 2020-21 season.

However, she suffered from a destroyed knee injury and missed the entire 2022-23 season.
Bokerz is now in the Fifth College season after she needed to play another one to rebuild its stock.
It seems not fair for women's basketball stars in the world that they are forced to adhere to these strict standards before they enter the league.
There are only 13 teams in the league, making the American Professional League storming more difficult than the American Professional League.
Making players pass throughout the four years of the college makes it difficult for them to storm the league.
Perhaps WNBA should reduce the age of twenty, or allow players to enter the league after two years in the college instead of four.
Something should change, to allow the most important women's basketball talents to benefit from their talents sooner.
