A judge scored at 115-113 in favor of the American star, while the other two called him 114-114.
Davis admitted that he was weak and left the door open to the return match in New York.
“To be honest, it made it competitive, real. Frankly,” Davis said.
“But certainly, Lamont is a great fighter.
“It was a learning lesson, as you know, screaming to Lamont Roach and his entire team, and we hope we can definitely run it.
“Return it to New York. Let's do it again. Let's go back in New York. Let's do it again, darling.”
After Davis faced Jos from the Barclays crowd in the Barclays Center, players in Roth and also called for the return match.
“I am just disappointed in this decision. I thought I took it out,” Roche said.
“This is what Maher fighters enter and show their craft. Certainly I thought I won, but we could run it. Girvonta is a great fighter.
“I doubt the opportunity to show the world to all the people who were skeptical of me, and all the people who were speaking ***, all the fake media, all of this.
“This turned upside down, although I didn't win tonight, I thought I did it.
“But it is a victory for me in my book, but we are not satisfied with it. We need W.
Davis, 30, began slowly and granted, but Roche, 29, was very careful.
It was a battle of tremors and physical action until the second half of the fighting when it really started.
While Davis stood at home and carried him on the left hands and right hooks, he might have expected Roche to collapse like others before him.
But the opponent fought fire with fire, landing in groups and leading the left hooks on its own.

The battle turned into a comic in the ninth round when Roche fell into a blow to Davis and the hero stopped before taking a knee.
According to the rules, if the gloves or knee touch the fabric, then the ruling is to manage the count.
But official Steve Willis allowed Davis to enter his corner to obtain his face by his coaches without deducting a number or point.
The battle in life was later ignited, as the two match each other in the other three rounds.
Roche ended the match on the front foot, as she fell a big left hook to win himself.
But if a truly judge was called, he would find himself like the two -weight world and the first to beat Davis.
“If you are taking a knee voluntarily and the reference begins to count, it should be a knockout,” Roche said.

“If this is a knockout, then I won the battle. So, I mean, this is what it is. I am not, I am not a banker on a knockout to win. I thought I took it out.
“
Davis faced more nonsense from the crowd because he revealed a greasy hair product in his eyes that caused him on his knee.
“I have accomplished my hair two days ago and put grease in my country ***,” he said.
“So S *** was like sweating, things like that and the coming grease in my face.
“The eyes of the type S ***, yes.
“Like, these are real facts. Come, man. Look at my hair, I have just accomplished.
“But everything is great, man. You know that she is getting. They love you, then hate you. He turns and then loves you again.”
