The San Diego FC team said in the league's main league that they will take measures to stop the “unacceptable” homosexuality that occurred during its first match at home in the department.

During the match, the club published messages urging supporters to stop the “offensive chant”. Since then, they continued to say: “What happened during the first match at all does not reflect the club or the values ββthat we offer.
“The sport of football brings people together and in San Diego, this comprehensive spirit flourishes. The use of homosexuality in our stadium is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“San Diego FC is based on respect and belief that football is for everyone.”
The club said they will take “immediate steps to address this behavior” and will be the “details plan” in effect before their next home match.
The chanting, which is widespread in the Mexican League, has witnessed the fingering of the Mexican national team several times by FIFA.
It is usually broadcast when the opposition goalkeeper takes the goal kick.
“The chant that heard tonight is unacceptable,” said Mickey Varas coach of the San Diego team.
“It is outside our value system. It does not represent the players, I or the club, and certainly does not represent San Diego or Baja California. It is not a reflection of whom we are.”
