Rakklifte does not admit that every decision was made correct.
“We are not perfect, and we are on a journey, and there were some mistakes all the way, but I believe in everything we do all the things that we do are the right things for the club,” he said.
One of these mistakes was the employment of sports director Dan Ashworth – who left this role in just five months.
“Chemistry” was not correct, which led to his departure.
When he supported ten August in the summer, only for the Dutch coach to leave after a few months, he admitted that he was another mistake – the club costs about 20 million pounds to compensate for ten haj and his team and then bring Amorim.
“I agree that the decisions of Erik Ten and Dan Ashworth were mistakes. I think there are some diluted circumstances, but in the end they were mistakes. I accepted it and apologized for it.
“If you look at the time when we made the decision on Eric,” he said.
“It became more clear after three months and we have sinned, but we moved. I think we have corrected it while we were in a completely different place today,” he added.
Ratcliffe believes that these changes, along with operational changes, will help the club to move forward and repeat its goal to win the Premier League by 2028 – the 150th anniversary of the club.
“I don't think it is an impossible task. I think it is good to have goals and goals,” said Ratcliffe.
“If you look at Arsenal, if you look at Liverpool, if you look at the time you took to get the house in order and return to the winning roads, it is likely that this is a little at the short end of the spectrum. But this is not impossible.”
The club is also preparing to announce plans that can see the “most famous football field in the world” that is built to replace the current stadium, as part of the wider renewal scheme.
It is expected to announce on Tuesday.
“The club will end in a completely different place within three years to where it was in the past, from my point of view,” Ratcliffe added.
“I think it will become the most profitable club in the world. I think we may finish the world's most famous football field, and I think we will finish winning silver again.”
