Chancellor Rachel Reeves has already gave the government support to the plans.
United says the entire project has the ability to create 92,000 new jobs, and will include building 17,000 homes and attends 1.8 million additional visitors to the region annually. They add that the project will deserve 7.3 billion pounds per year to the British economy.
“Today represents the inaccurate of an exciting journey to hand over what will be the greatest stadium in the world,” said Ratcliffe.
“We have served our current stadium brilliantly over the past 115 years, but it has fallen behind the squares in the sports world.
“I think we may end with the world's most famous football stadium.”
He said that there was no date when working on the stadium began, adding: “This depends on how quickly the government starts with the renewal program. I think they want to go very quickly.”
