GMB: Susanna praises John Hemingway
Good Morning Britain, host Susanna Reed Karam, “Absolute Champion” on Tuesday program. Besides her host, Richard Madley, Susanna took a moment to inform viewers of the sad death of John “Badi” Hemingway.
She shared: “Let's turn our attention to a very wonderful hero and the last of them. The last few were transferred to his maker.
“This is John” Badi “Hemingway, one of that unusual band of the brothers who were all who stood between Britain and invaded the enemy what Winston Churchill called the most wonderful hours.”
John, the last remaining British pilot, died on March 17, 2025, at the age of 105.
He said that thinking about John's service: “We do not make men and women like that anymore. It has fallen four times, has been dropped four times.”
Andrew celebrated the participation of John throughout the entire war as he continued to fight until the age of 21 at the end of the Battle of Britain, according to Manchester Event News.
Good morning lunch, Britain, Kevin Maguire, is in harmony with his ideas during the show. He suggested that John justify a great farewell, to be in the Monastery of Westminster or another prominent Cathedral across the United Kingdom.
He pointed out: “The family may want a very calm service in a Holocaust or a local church, it's okay if this is what they want. But it must be marked.”
Susanna continued that the masses told that a new normal statue depicts John Hemingway staring at Skyward will be unveiled at the Kent Battle of Britain Museum next month.
The British fans rushed to express their grief on Twitter. One person who did not touch the death of John shared: “Forever forever. Launch in peace, XX soldier.”
Others paid their greetings with heart messages such as: “End of the era. Rip John!” And simple but strong: “real hero”.
He also made Prime Minister Kiir Starmer his respect for the public via social media. His statement read: “It is very sad to hear the death of the group's leader, John Badi Hemingway, the last well -known Battle of Britain.
“His courage, and his company from all British Royal Air Force pilots helped end World War II and secure our freedom. We will never forget their courage and service. Thank you, John Badi” Hemingway. “
