HMP PARC prison officers were arrested in Bridgend and Wales, in text messages mocking some prisoners who were injured behind bars as well as incidents of self -damage
The annoying text messages that were allegedly sent by the officers in a prison in Wales appeared to laugh at prisoners who were injured behind bars, saying they “need to be broken.”
According to the exchange of messages that were conducted by those working in HMP PARC in Bidgend, about 30 miles from Cardiff, they show that they also make fun of self -harm and the guests who were beaten. Wellzonine reported that the shocking texts and messages that were sent on social media show a number of exchanges between the officers and the former state. One of the messages, which was sent after a complaint, read: “Prisoners must be broken mentally and physically.”

One person wrote: “Let's pay him to go tomorrow so that we can drop it.” Another message answered: “A great time, and *** for it.”
Additional messages illuminate the risk of suicide in prison. I read one message: “He will connect a bag around his neck.” Another responds: “A lot of papers.” Another adds: “Do not have to do papers if you pretend not to see them.”
Four PARC officers who were arrested last September were previously reported on suspicion of attacking and misconduct in the General Office regarding “discovering messages on social media common to employees related to excessive use of force on prisoners and other serious allegations.” These four officers were released without charge.
