It can become one of the most famous killers in New York City – gangs who killed the police officer Edward Berne as he sat in his periodic car in Queens in 1988 – is the forty -fourth convicted policeman of the past eight years when he faces the conditional release board later this month, and he learned this position.

The cruel assassination of a rising policeman was amazed by David McLari on the orders of the Queen of Narcotics City in the labor epidemic in the eighties – and became a national symbol of the era of chaos in the afternoon.

Former ruler Andrew Como appointed 12 members of the current conditional release council.

The Board of Directors issued 43 of the policeman since 2017, after Como reshaped how the Council decides whether the conditional release will be granted.

The new guidelines, with the support of liberal activists, require the Board of Directors to consider the “progress” of the prisoner behind bars, as well as their dangers on society, with these factors that outperform the attractiveness of the original crime. The Board of Directors is also the age – many prisoners with a conditional release were 60 years or older.

“Andrew Como accumulated a conditional release board with extremists and has changed the rules for criminals on police officers – and now 43 of the killers are policemen who have marched freely,” said Cortis Slioa, Republican, “No one should kill a police officer to see Noor today again.”

Como refused, through an official spokesman, with the exception of referring to all his appointments in “the independent council … by the Senate under Republican and Democracy control.”

Burn's brother said he is getting the texts of the conditional release sessions of the policeman.

“Since the standard release criterion has changed under the governor of the state, Como, I have read that I do not know the number of texts … because I get a copy of what every defender says before it offers a graphic, and they all focus on the progress I made in prison, whether this is programs or chapters or maybe they did not fight a battle.”

“He completely ignored that my brother had never got an opportunity to develop his life … He planned to engage and marry and has a family and had no time to, and so his development ended.”

Bern added angrily, “It is a wonderful thing to complete the programs, but he completely ignores any victim to kill the killing, how their future was taken from them, and the impact he caused on their families, their lives and their future.

Quite frankly, I think the system is upside down.

He said: “I mean that you have a legislative body sitting in Albani that realizes this, it has the ability to pass the legislation and change them, and to this day … no one has done anything, and they only accelerate the publications of dangerous people, especially the police killers.”

His brother said that on the night he left Eddie Bern in his last Nuba on February 26, 1988, his retired father told him in the same thing, he always said: “They have a safe tour.”

This was the last thing you see his family from the young policeman.

“The next morning, answer a door at 5 am, and there is a police champion standing there and you know that this is bad news,” Bern, who lived in northern Masabikua at the time. “I watched my father collapsing and then going to trial every day for several months … they were drained and only destroyed.”

Bern has since lost his father and brother, Larry Bern, who was a great lawyer for the New York police until his death in 2020. His mother was 88 years old and lived in a living house with help.

“I got pictures of Eddie all over the apartment,” Bern said, describing the shelf, which contains one of her favorite pictures of Smiling, rising alongside the Christmas tree shortly before his killing.

He said: “I hope that I will not sit in another conversation with her before she hit the news telling her that the man who put five bullets in her son's head comes out of prison, because I do not know whether she will survive this.”

The head of the charitable police association Patrick Hindari is asking a New York resident to go to the Union website and sign a petition to “preserve this policeman behind bars.”

He said: “After the assassination of Eddie, the policemen and residents of New York gathered together to send a message that the evil drug dealers do not judge our streets.” “We cannot leave the conditional release board erasing that message.”
