Exclusively: Nearly six and a half years ago, Glen Hodl suffered from heart surgeries in a TV studio and a clinical death for a few minutes before Simon Daniels, a sports voice engineer BT attended it
It is always good when he puts athlete, sporty, celebrities, or has a good issue, regardless of their time to present it. But when it comes to a specific task, Glenn Hodde does not prove its commitment.
Nearly six and a half years ago, Hodel suffered from the arrest of the heart in a TV studio, and he died a clinical for a few minutes before Simon Daniels, a BT sports voice engineer. Over the past year, Hodde was part of a campaign to encourage people to learn CPR, which is a life -saving technique that means that it is to talk about.
“I'm sitting here because of CPR,” says Hodel. “And if you learn how to do it, you can save a person's life the way Simon saved. I don't think there can be anything better.” On the land of Swindon Town, Hodel looks well.
He is fit and active and loves football as much as he always has. But as you expect, today in October 2018, he made him deeply think about life.
“He gave me a completely different perspective of life. I was always a person who thought we were here for other reasons and that we live. I don't think this is the end when we take over.

“I opened this my eyes. I went out on a way in which we are not what we are doing, it is how we achieved it. I went for ten minutes. I just woke up in the hospital, and I didn't know where I was.
“If you are president of a large company and you have *** people to get to the place you reach and you hurt people and you do not understand how people treat and how they might feel bad about themselves, you may have achieved some wonderful things but you did this in the incorrect way. Do this in the right way more important.
“In analogy of football, I always said that I want to be successful but there is a way to play.” Hodde was on the province's land to send Swindon fans on their way in a stem from the Matters course, and the Sky Bet EFL initiative to increase awareness of the ease of learning how to perform CPR.
“You can imagine how important it is for me to go out there and learn,” says Hodel. “Some of these campaigns revolve around money, but this is related to consciousness. If you know how to do CPR while you are in a shopping center, in football, or anywhere it can end up to save a person's life. I will not talk to you if Simon is not.”
The Sky Bet EFL EFL every minute you follow Matters Relay is a 4000 km arduous trip for 28 days, which features 72 incredible legs, stops at each EFL club before crowning Wembley on April 21. But unlike traditional charitable events, the deportation of “every minute” does not ask the fans to donate criticism but instead the fans are required to give up only 15 minutes to learn CPR.
The sequence is the last stage of the leading Sky Bet and British Heart Foundation campaign every minute, which set a goal a year ago to encourage 270,000 football fans to learn CPR – that is, equivalent to three wembley stadiums – by May 2025. With less than two months to go, the campaign reached 235,000 noticeables – this means that the issue with an amazing minute.
