Sumier and her husband went to the station “almost every day” and they have not faced a problem like this before, according to ABC local WSOC.
The woman said that her husband went inside the fuel station and paid $ 10, but when he returned to the pump, the price rose before he could start pumping gas.
In a video of the extraordinary accident, Sumier's husband can be seen carrying a gas pump outside his car with the high price of the pump continued.
“He got a gas pump in his hand without any gas out of it,” Samiri said in the video.
The numbers on the pump slowly rose to $ 9.77 without pumping any gas.
She said, “During the 32 years of living, I have never seen anything like that.”
Samir said she complained to the fuel station director, but she did not get a decision.
“I am angry,” she said to the port.
When Sumier spoke to WSOC, a man said he had a fuel station in North Carolina, to blame a computer malfunction.
“This is a computer problem,” he said.
“So we cannot fix it.”
Samiri asked why no one from the fuel station was contacted to fix the situation and demanded the recovery.
The owner apologized and immediately agreed to recover $ 10 paid for gas.
She said, “It doesn't matter how much it was. It was my money.”
“Money is money for me. I work hard for my money just as it does.”
The Ministry of Agriculture in North Carolina, the agency responsible for examining the gas stations, has told WSOC that it will send an agent to inspect the broken pump.
