The baseball game praised the main league for former players Octavio Dutel and Tony Blanco after they died in the collapse of a roof on Tuesday at a nightclub in the capital of the Republic of Dominican Santo Domingo.
At least 98 people who were killed and more than 150 people, with Dutel, 51, who played in 13 teams from the MLB team from 1999-2013, and former Washington player Blanco, 43, played among those who died.
Among the victims was Nelsi Cruz, the sister of former Bibuli player Nelson Cruz, MLB All-Star seven times.
“The main baseball game for the baseball is very sad due to Octavio Dotel, Tony Blanco, Nelsy Cruz and all victims of the tragedy last night in Santo Domingo,” a statement said.
“We send our heartfelt condolences to families and friends for all who were affected, our colleague Nelson and his entire family.
“The relationship between baseball and the Dominican Republic passes deeply and thinks about all Dominican players and fans all over the game today.”
Dutel, who won the 2011 World Championship with St. Luis Cardinal, began his MLB career with New York Mits in 1999 and continued to show her at Houston Astros, Athland Athletics, New York Yanxiz, Chicago White Suchev and Detroit Tigerers.
Astros and Yankees praised Dotel, while Mets noticed the moment of silence before Tuesday's match against Miami Marilyn.
Dutel spent five seasons [2000-04] A statement said that his 15 -year -old professional career with Houston Astros.
“While he was in Houston, he was one of the best assistants in all the baseball and was an important part of a dominant bull that included the Famir Billy Vagner and Brad Leedge Hall.”
Yanxiz added that they are “saddened by the” pass “of the former Dotel jug and sent” their deepest condolences to the Octavio family, their friends and their loved ones. “
Blanco played 56 games for Washington, citizens in 2005, and is his only season in MLB.
