The 42 -year -old, Abu Zarzar Ramti, acknowledged that she was guilty of the Federal Court to conspire to act and act as an Iranian government agent in the United States without prior notification to the public prosecutor.

The court documents show that from December 2017 at least to June 2024, Ramati worked with Iranian intelligence agents and government officials on their behalf in the United States.
During that period, Rehamati met with Iranian intelligence in Iran, and he was connected with the Iranian authorities using a cover story to hide his behavior, and obtained work with a FAA contractor with access to sensitive and non -general information about the American aviation sector, and obtained open and non -general materials about the energy industry in the United States to the United States.
The Ministry of Justice said that his mercy offered his services to Iran in August 2017 through a former colleague who was a senior Iranian government official who had previously worked in the country's intelligence and security Ministry.

While working as a FAA contractor in the United States, Rahmati has downloaded at least 175 GB of files, including FAA sensitive documents controlled by access to the national space system (NAS), NAS monitoring radar systems and radio frequency data.
Rahmati stored files on removable media, which he took to Iran in April 2022 and presented to government officials, according to the Ministry of Justice.
He also provided additional information about solar energy, solar panels, FAA, American airports, and US air traffic control towers to his brother who live in Iran in April 2022, and added the Ministry of Justice, so that his brother can provide files to intelligence officials on behalf of Rahmati.
Ramati is scheduled to be sentenced to August 26, and he faces a maximum of 10 -year prison for his work as a foreign government worker, and even five years in prison for conspiracy.
