A recruiter was left in Sydney through a question from a student of work on the supposed “Red Science” they witnessed while searching for their work.
Tammie Christofis Ballis, a specialized recruiter and job trainer in realistic professions, often provides advice on social media for those who are going through job search or interview.
During one of the live questions and lives sessions on Tiktok, there was one question in particular that caught her attention.
“Are you thinking about a recruiter call at 7 pm with a red flag?” A social media user requested.
“Certainly no. Why do you think this red flag?” Palis responded.
She explained that if one of the recruits is making efforts to contact you at 7 pm, then this means that you are the “right person for the job” and they want to present you quickly.
Speaking to News.com.au, Ballis said that recruits often work outside the normal hours to find the right filter.
Contact outside normal working hours also means that they do not boycott you in your current job if you have one.
She said: “Therefore, it is not a red flag at all, if any, it should be fun.”

Even after explaining the reason for this situation, the evening call was a positive sign, many people were still insisting that it was a red flag.

However, there were those who agreed with Ballis, saying they would be happy to make a call later in the day if it means applying for a job.
One person said they would receive a call “delightly” at 7 pm if that means that someone was offering them a job.
Another said that “the red flag was not at all,” saying that they recently received a call in the evening from a recruiter who was excited to find out the progress of their request.
They said: “He apologized for the hours after hours, but he said that in general most candidates cannot make calls during working hours during their work, so he preserves his prayers after hours.”
Another agreed, and the question about the reason for anyone's desire to make a call about another job in front of his president and colleagues.

The labor market is tight at the present time, as Palis says there are often hundreds if not thousands of people applying for one job.
In her experience, if people complain of something simple like responding to a phone call outside working hours, it will just harm them in the long run.
“When everyone applies that 1,000 people are applying for jobs, if you have a problem in a situation that someone invites you at 7 pm … you will not succeed in life. It is simplely simple,” she said.
In fact, Sydney recruiter said if she tries to call someone and asked her to call again during working hours, this will raise the red flag for her.
She said: “This indicates that they do not want this opportunity and I will not waste my time on someone who tells me how to perform my job,” adding that she will invest her instead at the front of the request he can follow.
