White House journalist Caroline Levitte said President Donald Trump “stands strongly” behind Defense Minister Beit Higseth, even amid a new bomb report and a previous opportunity from senior Pentagon speakers.
“This is what happens when the entire Pentagon works against you and against the huge change you are trying to implement,” said Levitt Ali Fox & Friends This morning.
On Sunday, the New York Times and other outlets reported that Higseth, the previous host Fox & Friends WeekendJoint details about the plans for the attack on the Houthi rebels in Yemen in the conversation of another sign of a sign that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer. Higseth participated in an other signal set, with Trump Administration officials, wrongly, the Atlantic Ocean Editor Jeffrey Goldberg.
Also on Sunday, John Ullewat, a Trump, who held the position of Senior Pentagon speaker, wrote at a center in Politico that “last month it was a complete collapse in the Pentagon-and became a real problem for the administration,” wrote John Ullewat, a Pentagon's chief spokesman, at a Politico centered.
“It is very likely that more shoes will fall in a short time, with larger bomb stories from the next week.”
On Friday, three senior assistants – Dan Caldwell, Darin Celnik and Colin Carroll – were expelled with media reports that they participated in the leakage of sensitive information. But the next day, they issued a statement saying that “his unveiled Pentagon officials defamed our personality with unrequious attacks on our way out of the door.” Ullyot wrote that “the Higseth team has usually developed the spread of flat lies easily, anonymously from their colleagues on their way out of the door.”
Trump has not yet commented himself, but Levitte has said that he blamed the situation for the Pentagon officials whose name was not revealed. “They are leaking while they are lying to the main media,” she said.
